  Sumisigla nang muli ang bilang ng mga overseas Filipino worker (OFW) na naidi-deploy sa ibang bansa, kumpara noong 2020 o iyong unang taon nang pagtama ng COVID-19 pandemic sa bansa. Ayon kay Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Administrator Bernard Olalia, partikular na nanumbalik ang sigla ay ang sector ng ‘seafaring industry.’ Ang landbase naman, bagama’t hindi kasing bilis ng pagsigla ng seafaring industry, sinabi ni Olalia na nakapagtala ito ng 30 percent na pag-angat nitong 2021.     Unti-unti na rin aniyang nagbubukas ang mga bansa na itinuturing na traditional countries of destination, kabilang na ang Middle East, Europa, American region at ASEAN, kung saan nagde-deploy ng factory workers ang Pilipinas, dagdag pa ng administrador ng POEA. Ang Israel ay nagsimula na ring tumanggap ng mga hotel worker kung saan nasa higit 60 na ang naipadala ng pamahalaan.

Sa lima, ang gusto kung pagtuunan ng pansin ay ang "illegal recruiter." Katulad ng "drug lord" ang ‘illegal recruiter’ ay marami ng winasak na tahanan.
