  Dateline Kamuning:       The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) fully supports the ‘war on drugs’ campaign of the Secretary of the Interior and Local Government (SILG) Benjamin Abalos Jr. “Tuloy-tuloy ang kampanya ng BJMP laban sa illegal na droga,” BJMP chief Jail Director Iral said. The Jail Bureau maintains close coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, the Philippine National Police, local government units, and anti-drug advocates in its campaign against drugs.   Aside from the regular and joint greyhound operations in jail units, the Jail Bureau also conducts regular and random drug testing of personnel and persons deprived of liberty (PDL) in all its 478 BJMP-manned facilities nationwide.
