SPEAKER ROMUALDEZ: PBBM SHINES AT APEC AS SAVVY INT’L LEADER PROMOTING PH

Speaker Martin G. Romualdez on Saturday said President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr. shone at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation 2022 (APEC) Summit in Bangkok, Thailand as a savvy international relations leader promoting the Philippines.

Romualdez said the President’s efforts to promote the Philippines as an investment hub and advance its regional interests during APEC Summit are a resounding success, based on what transpired during the event.

 


He said President Marcos was not only able to effectively articulate the Philippine position on pressing global issues but he also established warm relations with fellow heads of state, particularly during the bilateral meetings held on the sidelines of the APEC meeting.

 

Romualdez cited the statement of Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Assistant Secretary Eric Tamayo who said in the press briefing on Friday that most of the statements from the APEC leaders were “actually aligned and parallel” with the pronouncements of President Marcos.

Ilang buwan ang nakararaan naaresto ng Manila Police District ang tatlong Pakistani national na nagbebenta ng ‘counterfeit’ o pekeng gamot. Ilang concerned citizen kasi ang dumulog sa MPD dahil ang tatlong dayuhan ay nagbebenta ng mga ‘branded’ na gamot sa murang halaga. PBBM TO GOV’T AGENCIES: IMPLEMENT WATER CONSERVATION MEASURES

In light of the looming El Niño phenomenon or the long dry spell, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has directed all government agencies to strictly implement water conservation measures. In  Memorandum Circular No. 22 , dated 7 June 2023 and signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, the President orders the Water Resource Management Office (WRMO) and its network of agencies to take the lead in implementing water conservation measures to avert a possible water crisis amid the dry spell in the next months.
